About Zimbabwe Council for Higher Education

The Zimbabwe Council for Higher Education (ZIMCHE) is the national quality assurance and regulatory body for higher education in Zimbabwe. Established in 2006 through the ZIMCHE Act [Chapter 25:27] our mandate is to regulate teaching standards, examinations, academic qualifications and research in higher education institutions. The ZIMCHE is dedicated to ensuring academic excellence, fostering innovation, and driving continuous improvement across the higher education landscape. Key focus areas include Registration and Accreditation, Academic and Institutional Audits, Foreign Qualifications Assessment and Standards Development.
