Purpose / Project Description:

To support the project team in implementing the EU program activities particularly the DRR program activities, specifically the implementation of 14 DRR prioritized Actions which may include the construction and rehabilitation of different types of community level infrastructures, such as; construction of water gates, culvert bridges, retaining/protection walls, lining and cleaning of irrigation canals in three areas of Daman district, four areas of Dand and four areas of Kandahar city, and four areas in Nadali district of Helmand. Mercy Corps will hire 3 technical site supervisors for Kandahar and 1 technical site supervisor for Helmand to oversee the progress of construction and rehabilitation works related to the 14 prioritized DRR actions on the ground.
