IMC Van Driver / Mail Courier Job Summary The IMC Driver is responsible for operating the IMC service van to deliver instructional materials to school locations throughout the seven-county service area. This position supports participating districts by ensuring timely, accurate, and professional delivery and handling of materials.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Operate the IMC service van to transport instructional materials to and from school locations within the seven-county service area Coordinate with the IMC Clerk to support delivery schedules and material distribution needs Load, transport, and unload materials in a safe and efficient manner Maintain positive, professional communication with school staff and IMC personnel Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and organizational policies while operating the vehicle Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and maneuver bulky or heavy items independently Ability to load and unload materials into and out of the van and school buildings, with or without the use of a hand truck Ability to perform these essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation Qualifications Valid driver’s license Ability to pass a background check, including a driving record check Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and manage physical job demands Equal Opportunity Statement This position is subject to applicable federal and Kansas employment laws.
