Responsibilities

The Jorgensen Family YMCA is seeking an enthusiastic and attentive part-time Scan Station Attendant to join our team as an ambassador of the YMCA, delivering a high standard of service that is efficient, effective, and member-focused at all times. Connect: Build welcoming and positive relationships with members and guests at entry points.

Serve: Ensure all members scan upon entry to identify membership status. Guide non/inactive members or guests to the membership desk. Deliver: Provide professional, courteous, and friendly customer service while assisting with member needs and questions.

Requirements

Candidates must be committed to contributing to the mission, culture, and values of the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne, as well as Must be at least 15 years of age. Excellent human relations skills with a friendly, helpful attitude. Ability to make quick and accurate decisions. Successfully complete within 60 days of hire: CPR/First Aid/O2 Certification, Bloodborne Pathogen training, Child Abuse Prevention training, and all other required training as specified by your supervisor.

Salary: Part Time - $11.85-$12.35, hourly Hours Available: Tuesdays, Thursdays, 2:30 P.M - 5:30 P.M Rotating Fridays, 2:30 P.M - 5:30 P.M Rotating Saturdays, 9 A.M. - 12 P.M. (Noon) Location: Jorgensen Family YMCA, 10313 Aboite Center Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46804
