Global IT License Manager

Ihre Aufgaben Global responsibility for operational and strategic IT license management across the ALTANA Group Further development and implementation of a Group-wide IT license management strategy in close collaboration with IT Procurement, Group IT and the IT representatives of the ALTANA divisions Manage the complete software lifecycle, from demand planning and procurement through usage and optimization to the renewal or termination of license agreements Conduct regular license reconciliations, compliance reviews and optimization analyses, and identify over- and under-licensing Prepare, coordinate and support vendor audits while proactively reducing licensing and financial risks Identify and deliver savings opportunities, including demand aggregation, license harvesting, contract consolidation and fit-for-purpose licensing models and ensure the commercially optimal use of the global software portfolio Support tenders and contract negotiations with software vendors and licensing partners by providing reliable usage, demand and compliance data Build and maintain a central repository of contracts, licenses and entitlements as a reliable basis for management decisions Define and continuously develop global processes, roles, policies and governance structures for IT license management an ensure license compliance Produce regular reports and management dashboards covering license costs, usage, compliance, contract terms, risks and realized savings Ihr Profil University degree in business administration, business informatics, computer science or a comparable qualification Several years of professional experience in IT license management, software asset management or IT asset management within an international corporate environment In-depth knowledge of interpreting complex software agreements, license terms, usage rights and licensing metrics Experience with leading software vendors and their licensing models, for example Microsoft, SAP and Adobe Experience in conducting license reconciliations and in preparing for or supporting software audits Good understanding of cloud, SaaS, subscription and consumption-based licensing models Strong analytical and commercial acumen, together with the ability to present complex matters clearly and appropriately for different audiences Structured, diligent and independent working style, with a strong focus on quality and compliance Excellent communication skills and confident stakeholder management within a global matrix organization Excellent written and spoken German and English Kontakt Nicola Krohn HR Team Telefonnummer: (+49) 28167026039
