R&R BBQ – Delta Center & America First Field Event Team Member QUALIFICATIONS & JOB REQUIREMENTS At least 16 years old Must pass a background check Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the event schedule Able to stand for long shifts and work quickly during peak crowds Valid Utah Food Handler Permit, or able to get one within 30 days of hire Restaurant, food prep, or concessions experience preferred but not required A DAY IN THE LIFE As an R&R BBQ Event Team Member at the Delta Center and America First Field, no two shifts are the same.

You’ll serve Jazz and Real Salt Lake fans, concertgoers, and event crowds during some of the biggest nights in Salt Lake. You’ll handle many tasks, including prepping and serving food and running the register, but your main job is to give every guest a great experience, especially when the line is long and the energy is high.

We have a great culture, and we’d love for you to join us and help keep things buzzing all season long. WHO WE ARE R&R BBQ started as a hobby. Our founders barbecued for friends and family, then started entering competitions around Salt Lake City. Win after win led to regional contests and eventually to the largest competitions in the country, where they placed among the top teams.

The first R&R BBQ opened in downtown Salt Lake City in 2013, and a second location in South Jordan followed two years later. Today we have 12 restaurants in three states and plans to grow into new markets. Our recipes, spice rubs, sauces, and smoking techniques haven’t changed since our competition days, and our goal is still to win the most important contest every day: pleasing every guest.
