Meaty Meats is a specialty retailer focusing on Fresh Organic Meats and Charcuterie, as well as in-house Prepared Foods. We operate two locations in the GTA, with a focus on customer experience. As the owner of the company's retail meat operations, reporting to the Retail Operations Manager or similar our e-commerce web store.

This is a permanent full-time employment with day shift and overtime available.

Responsibilities

Cut meat and poultry into specific cuts for institutional, commercial, or other wholesale use Remove bones from meat Record information on products inspected Clean and maintain the workspace Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience Specialization: Meat cutting/Meat cutter Required work experience: 2 years to less than 3 years Equipment and machinery experience knives power cutting tools saws Product inspection experience Meat and meat products Transportation/travel information own transportation Public transportation is available Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities 40 hours per week, full-time permanent employment, Day shift, overtime available $24 per hour Start as soon as possible Work language: English Repetitive tasks Handling heavy loads Physically demanding Manual dexterity Attention to detail Hand-eye co-ordination Standing for extended periods Weight handling Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Up to 45 kg (100 lbs) More than 45 Kg (100 lbs) Own tools/equipment Steel-toed safety boots Personal Suitability Accurate Team player The physical job locations are: Primary location: 896 Lakeshore Rd.
