Athletic Trainer

Established in 2014, Xcelerate Physical Therapy is an outpatient physical therapy clinic that specializes in orthopedics, sports medicine, and pre- and post-surgical rehabilitation. Responsibilities:Provide per diem athletic training coverage as needed to support team operations and athlete care Perform comprehensive injury assessments and evaluations using appropriate clinical examination techniques Develop and implement individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans for injured athletes Provide immediate emergency medical care and injury management in accordance with established protocols Collaborate with team physicians, coaching staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal athlete health and safety Maintain detailed and accurate medical records and documentation for all athlete evaluations and treatments Design and implement injury prevention programs and conditioning protocols to enhance athlete performance and reduce injury risk Educate athletes on proper injury prevention techniques, recovery strategies, and return-to-play guidelines Manage athletic training equipment, supplies, and facilities to ensure they meet safety and operational standards Monitor athlete health status and provide ongoing support during practices, competitions, and team events Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations, HIPAA requirements, and organizational policies Communicate effectively with athletes, coaching staff, and medical personnel regarding injury status and treatment progressRequired: Current Athletic Trainer Certification (ATC) license in Pennsylvania Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited Athletic Training program Current CPR/AED certification and First Aid certification Knowledge of injury assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation protocols Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Competitive pay
