Join the Team in our Line Crew Department! Empire Fiber is seeking someone to join our Line Crew Department within the following area: Roseville, PA | Are you someone who loves working outdoors, being part of a skilled team, and working hands-on? We are seeking a motivated and dependable Line Crew Person to help support and maintain our growing network. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys teamwork, independence, and building something that keeps communities connected. What You’ll Do: Perform installation, splicing, termination, and testing of fiber optic cables in various environments including aerial, underground, and indoor settings.

Assist in the deployment of telecommunications equipment such as routers, switches, and access points to support internet and TV services. Conduct regular maintenance inspections and troubleshooting to identify and rectify network issues promptly. Collaborate with team members to plan and execute network expansion projects ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety protocols.

Operate specialized tools and equipment safely and efficiently, including fusion splicers, OTDRs, and power meters. Adhere to industry standards, regulations, and company policies to maintain the integrity and reliability of network infrastructure. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving service disruptions, and communicating effectively with customers during installations and repairs.

Document work activities, including network configurations, splicing records, and service tickets accurately and comprehensively. Participate in training programs and stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in fiber optics and telecommunications. What We’re Looking For: Strong mechanical and technical aptitude Excellent communication skills Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing needs Experience in telecommunications, utilities, construction, or field operations is a plus Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required Why Join Us?

Pay Range

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour depending on experience. Empire Fiber is an Equal Opportunity Employer!
