Mammographer / Radiologic Technologist II (Mammography) - FT/80

Description The Mammographer will: Perform mammographic and diagnostic radiographic procedures. Perform daily check of work area. Provide education for departmental staff. Maintain professionalism and qualities consistent with a radiographer. Demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities for age specific patient populations.

Perform diagnostic mammographic procedures. Complete bone density exams.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology. Current Radiologic Technologist license in Vermont in good standing. Current Mammography certification from the American Registration of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT(RT)(MA)) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Experience to demonstrate the knowledge base and experience to successfully complete breast procedures.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.) Strong organizational skills. Self-motivated and functions independently. Demonstrates problem-solving and problem-prevention skills. Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills. Salary Range: The base rate for this position is $36.

00 - $45.99 per hour. The hourly range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the position. The rate for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.
