• Healthcare | Location: Phoenix, AZ 85031 Compensation: $16-$16.50 per hour| Full-Time Schedule: 10:45am-7pm, 5 days a week (including one weekend day) Job Summary Bring hospitality to healthcare! As a Patient Services Worker (Tray Line) , you’ll create a positive dining experience for every patient ensuring timely, accurate meal delivery.

Your role

is all about building connections—with patients and care teams—while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. With strong knowledge of diets and a sense of urgency, you’ll help deliver meals that truly make a difference in patient care.

What You'll Do

Prepare and assemble food and beverage items according to specifications. Deliver patient trays during meal service and deliver snacks or proper nourishment to patients. Ensures accuracy of food items being delivered to the patient and informs the patient of meal selection and any therapeutic diet information. Maintains the privacy, safety, and dignity of each customer by observing client confidentiality.

Provides excellent customer service and maintains a positive attitude towards clients, customers, co-workers, and hospital staff Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly. Ensure all food items are fresh, properly portioned, and presented attractively. Follow food safety protocols at all times, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures.

Monitor food inventory levels and communicate with management regarding replenishment needs. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen serving stations. Clean and sanitize food preparation surfaces, utensils, and equipment regularly. Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations and guidelines. This role includes food prep, serving on the tray line, washing patient trays in the dish room, delivering meal carts, stocking, cleaning, sanitizing and other food service duties.

What You Will Bring

High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for extended periods. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Current, valid Serv. Safe required . Current, valid State Food Handler Card.

Experience in foodservice, as a dietary clerk, or in a related field preferred. Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail. Professional appearance required, with grooming practices that support a safe and sanitary foodservice environment i.

Physical and Sensory Requirements This job involves regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and a kitchen environment with fumes, airborne particles, and moderate noise. Employees must have the physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift trays, and perform repetitive tasks.
