What you will be doing: Preparing and cooking menu items according to recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards Setting up your station and ensuring ingredients, equipment, and supplies are ready for service Assisting with food preparation, buffet service, banquet plating, and other kitchen duties as needed Communicating with the culinary team to help ensure service is timely and well coordinated Following food safety, sanitation, storage, and cleaning procedures Contributing to a respectful, supportive team environment Attending team meetings and training sessions, and sharing ideas for improvement What You Bring to the Table: 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant, banquet, or high-volume kitchen Strong knife skills and knowledge of cooking techniques A Safe Food Handler’s Certificate, Culinary Trade Certification, or Red Seal designation is an asset Flexibility to work during the daytime, evenings, weekends, and event-based hours Why Work for Carmen’s Group?
