Pharmacy Technician

Description Engelhard Medical Center Pharmacy , a part of Ocracoke Health Center, Inc., is a nonprofit healthcare organization dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to our coastal communities. With locations in Ocracoke, Manteo, and Engelhard, we offer primary care, behavioral health, pediatrics, in-house pharmacies, and support for migrant and seasonal farmworkers.

Our mission is to be a respectful, accessible, and comprehensive medical home for all. Location: Engelhard, NC Schedule: Mon–Fri, 9:00am–5:00pm Pay: $15–$17/hour We’re on the lookout for a friendly, detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to support our busy, mission-driven pharmacy. What You'll Do

Support Patients : Greet and assist patients in person and on the phone with warmth and professionalism. Process Prescriptions : Enter data, prepare medications, and label/package with care and accuracy. Stay Organized : Keep supplies stocked, manage files, and help maintain a smooth workflow. Be Tech-Savvy : Use pharmacy software to handle prescriptions and insurance claims.

Pitch In : Collaborate with your team and take on other duties as needed.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older. High school diploma or equivalent Reliable, responsible, and punctual. Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. We are open to candidates interested in Full-Time or Part-Time hours!
