• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other security related applications/programs required. * All certifications and training listed below are required within 6 months from date of hire or transfer. * American Heart Association BLS required within 6 months of hire or transfer. * CPI required within 6 months from date of hire or transfer; once obtained kept current at all time.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Security Officer performs safety and security tours according to established Security Department Management Plans and Standard Operating Procedures. The Security Officer provides and preserves a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors and staff at Atlanti. Care campuses and facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School degree or equivalent. LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: FEMA Certification: Incident Command System (IS) required within 6 months from date of hire or transfer. * Pending Government Operations * Current incumbents required to obtain all FEMA requirements by 9/30/2026. o IS 100 Introduction to Incident Command System o IS 700 National Incident Management System (NIMS) o IS 907 Active Shooter Training o IAHSS - required within 12 months of hire or transfer * CPI required within 6 months from date of hire or transfer; once obtained kept current at all times.

Atlanti. Care Security Department Hazardous Materials Training required within 6 months of hire or transfer. American Heart Association BLS required within 6 months of hire or transfer. In the event a required course is no longer available, an updated course or a comparable course may be substituted to meet the requirement.

Substitutions must be reviewed and approved by the AVP of the Department of Public Safety and HR to ensure alignment with current standards, regulations, and organizational needs. EXPERIENCE: 1 year of security officer experience preferred, preferably within the healthcare environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.

Bilingual abilities preferred. Knowledge of PC's and related applications required. 1 year of Atlanti. Care Security Officer experience preferred. Prior Healthcare service preferred. PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS Demonstrates the ability to perform the department specific competencies as listed on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool. WORK ENVIRONMENT Potential for exposure to the hazards and risk of the hospital environment, including exposure to infectious disease, blood-borne pathogens, hazardous substances, and potential injury.

Exposure to all weather conditions during patrols and post. Moderate to heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling, continuous walking and standing.
