Mechanical Assembler II

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform skilled fitting and/or electrical assembly of parts, sub-assemblies, and related units using a variety of hand tools, power tools, or equipment Perform in-depth inspection to ensure the product meets specifications and quality standards Do aligning, adjusting, and required secondary machining Work from wiring schematics, point-to-point wiring drawings, mechanical drawings, specifications and shop orders Use required precision measuring instruments and gauging devices Perform skilled electrical wiring assemblies including electrical components Identify product defects and report on issues to appropriate personnel Keep accurate production records/logs etc.

Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams. Protect Chamberlain Group’s and Systems’ reputation by keeping information confidential. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

No minimum education required 3+ year of experience in a manufacturing and electrical assembly environment or can demonstrate sufficient competence in area Intermediate understanding of mechanical concepts/mechanical aptitude Intermediate understanding of electrical concepts/electrical aptitude Working knowledge of electrical systems Able to read and write in English Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds Ability to stand, walk, and sit up Ability to use hand to finger, handle, or feel Ability to climb or balance The pay range for this position is $20.

91 - $32.52/hr. Base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).

This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
