Health. Activ is seeking a proactive and analytical Category Coordinator to contribute to the growth and performance of its Pharmaceuticals and Animal Health product portfolios. Working closely with the Manager, the incumbent will provide key insights on sales, stock, forecasts and investments to support informed decision-making and drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Management : Ensure the positioning, competitive pricing and promotion of a portfolio of products.
  • Product Development Planning : Work closely with the Medical Promotion team to develop brand plans and follow up on execution.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Prepare and maintain reports on category performance, sales trends, pricing and inventory levels.
  • Stock Management : Monitor expiry report, dormant and slow-moving items, and take proactive actions when necessary.
  • Team Collaboration: Act as a liaison between the Category Management and Medical Promotion teams to continuously monitor the market environment and develop appropriate counter action plans. Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or any related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems would be an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of animal health products and practices relating to both companion and farm animals would be a distinct advantage.
