Medical Assistant

Freeman Recovery Center, LLC Medical Assistant Purpose : Assist medical and nursing staff in providing an excellent client experience. Job Duties: Assist medical providers and nursing staff daily. Perform point of care testing. Record vital signs & assessment flow sheets. Maintain detailed records in EMR systems. Assisting with routine checks and diagnostic testing by collecting and processing specimens.

Monitor supplies regularly and submit orders in a timely manner. Monitor patients in clinical care for current needs, adherence to policies & procedures, and clinical or medical related issues. Assist with observing medications as needed.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred. CPR, First Aid/AED certification (provided by Freeman, if needed) required. CNA or MA certification preferred.
