Control Technician

The HVAC Controls Technician is responsible for the installation, programming, start-up, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair of building automation systems. This role involves both preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as supporting customers in optimizing their HVAC system performance. Technicians will be expected to maintain clear communication with customers, ensuring the timely and professional execution of services.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of building automation systems. Troubleshoot and optimize DDC control systems and ensure accurate, complete, and timely documentation. Perform software and software/hardware upgrades to building automation systems. Execute preventive maintenance tasks, including database backups, system analysis, network analysis, and equipment performance testing.

Lead smaller retrofit installations as part of service quoted projects. Troubleshoot DDC control systems and mechanical systems. Maintain consistent and clear communication with customers to ensure satisfaction. Ensure timely, effective, and complete execution of work performed. Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.

Experience/Job Skills 2-5 years of experience performing startup, commissioning, and installation of Building Automation Systems (BAS).
