School Cafeteria Monitor

Baden Academy, a K-6, arts integrated, public charter school is seeking a Cafeteria Monitor to join the team. This position is Mon-Fri 10:30am-1:15pm. 2.75 hours a day for 13.75 hours a week. You are responsible for assisting children during the lunch period and making sure children remain safe while in the cafeteria. Must be comfortable in loud environments.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma
• Experience working with children
• Child Abuse Clearance; Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Clearance, and Act 126.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assure that students remain safe in the cafeteria
• Maintain order in the cafeteria
• Understand and follow written and oral instructions
• Establish good relationships with the children and staff
• Perform any additional duties deemed necessary by the CEO and/or Principal
