Job description

Tired of the drive to a hospital shift? Interim HealthCare of Oklahoma City is hiring a Home Health Registered Nurse (RN), with a growing need for nursing visits in Mustang and the west side of the metro. We hire nurses throughout the OKC metro and do our best to schedule visits close to wherever you live.

Home health nursing means one patient at a time, real time to assess and teach, and a team of LPNs, aides and therapists working with you. Whether you’ve done home health for years or you’re a med-surg, ICU or clinic RN ready for something different, we want to meet you.

What You’ll Earn

  • Full-time: $40 per visit | Part-time: $35 per visit
  • Start of Care (SOC): $100 | Resumption of Care (ROC): $75 | Recertification: $60
  • Salaried option available if you’d rather skip per-visit pay
  • Mileage reimbursement at $0.64/mile, or a company car for full-time
  • Weekly pay every Friday

Schedule

  • Full-time: weekdays plus two weekends a month, with a weekday off after each weekend you work
  • Part-time: set your weekday visits, plus one weekend a month
  • Daytime visits, no 12-hour shifts

What You’ll Enjoy

  • Health and dental coverage (full-time, and part-time at 30+ hours/week)
  • Paid holidays and PTO that starts building on day one (full-time)
  • 401(k) with up to 4% match (full-time)
  • $25,000 company-paid life insurance (full-time)
  • Short- and long-term disability options (full-time)
  • A locally owned team that backs you up

What a Home Health RN Does

  • Visit home health patients for assessments, wound care, medication management and chronic disease care
  • Handle admissions and OASIS and help build the plan of care
  • Lean on a care team of LPNs, aides, therapists and office staff
  • Educate patients and families so they can stay safely at home
  • Coordinate with physicians and chart in our EMR

What We’re Looking For

  • Active Oklahoma or compact RN license
  • Home health experience preferred; strong clinical nurses from any setting encouraged to apply
  • OASIS knowledge a plus
  • CPR, valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and auto insurance
  • Self-directed and organized

Where You’ll Work We serve the full Oklahoma City metro, with a strong current need around Mustang, Yukon, Tuttle and SW Oklahoma City. Nurses from anywhere in the metro are welcome to apply. We aim to group visits near your home, though staffing and patient needs may occasionally mean visits in other areas.
