Job Summary

This role will be responsible for designing, customizing, implementing, and maintaining software solutions across enterprise and modern ecommerce environments. This role requires expertise in software development, APIs, system integrations, and EDI; strong problem-solving abilities; and the capacity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Experience with Net. Suite is preferred, and experience integrating with third-party logistics (3PL) providers is a plus.
Job Responsibilities
& Essential Functions:
- Lead the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
- Develop scalable and high-quality software solutions, with a focus on Net. Suite customization, integrations, and enhancements.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Utilize Net. Suite Suite. Script, Suite. Talk, Suite. Flow, and Suite. Builder to architect, customize, and optimize Net. Suite applications.
- Design and implement secure, scalable integrations between Net. Suite, modern ecommerce platforms, EDI trading partners, 3PL providers, and other business systems using APIs, web services, middleware, and event-driven integration patterns.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Use code repositories and version-control workflows to manage source code, perform peer reviews, support branching and release processes, and maintain code integrity through testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Stay updated with the latest Net. Suite releases, features, and best practices, recommending and implementing enhancements as needed.
- Contribute to architectural decisions, system design, and technology evaluations to drive innovation and efficiency. Job Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of professional software development experience, with a preference for hands-on experience in Net. Suite development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, and strong experience with scripting languages. Knowledge of Suite. Script (2.0/2.1) is highly desirable.
- Experience using Git-based code repositories and version-control platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, or GitLab, including branching, pull requests, code reviews, and release management.
- Familiarity with Net. Suite modules such as Suite. Commerce, Suite. Cloud IDE, Suite. Builder, and Suite. Analytics.
- Experience designing, developing, securing, and troubleshooting integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, web services, middleware, and related integration tools.
- Experience with EDI integrations and transaction workflows, including common standards and documents such as X12, purchase orders, acknowledgments, advance ship notices, invoices, and inventory updates.
- Experience with modern ecommerce platforms and architecture, including headless or composable commerce, storefront integrations, order management, payment, fulfillment, and customer data flows.
- Experience integrating with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, warehouse management systems, and fulfillment partners is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work in an agile environment, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
