Radiologist

Posting Title: Radiologist Industry: Hospital Salary: ₹4LPM to 4.5LPM Work Experience: 1+ year Responsibilities: Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging studies including X-ray, ultrasound, CT scan, MRI, and mammography. Generate detailed, accurate, and timely radiology reports for clinical review and patient management.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up care. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, radiation protection standards, and regulatory requirements. Participate in quality assurance initiatives and maintain high standards of imaging accuracy and documentation. Stay current with advancements in radiological technology, techniques, and clinical guidelines.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior radiology staff and trainees when applicable. Manage and prioritize workload efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Requirements

MBBS degree with postgraduate qualification in Radiology (MD/DNB in Radiology) or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year of post-graduate clinical experience in a hospital or diagnostic imaging setting. Proficiency in interpreting X-ray, ultrasound, CT scan, MRI, and mammography imaging studies. Strong understanding of imaging protocols, anatomy, and pathology relevant to diagnostic radiology.

Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to make accurate clinical assessments. Effective communication skills with the ability to convey complex findings clearly to referring physicians and patients. Familiarity with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems) and hospital information systems (HIS).

Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or relevant regulatory body. Commitment to ethical practice, patient confidentiality, and continuous professional development.
