Line Cook - Seasonal (Parks)

Job Details: SALARY: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour depending on experience APPLICATIONS ARE HELD ON FILE FOR 45 DAYS. THIS POSITION IS HIRED IN THE GOLF DIVISION OF THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Assist Restaurant/Assistant Restaurant Manager/Chef in cooking and preparation of food. Supervise kitchen personnel under the direction of the Restaurant Manager/Chef.

Ensure food items are prepared according to standards of quality, consistency and time lines. Receive and fulfill food orders using a restaurant point-of-sale system. Answer questions about cooking methods, menu items and specials Purchase various food products as directed by Restaurant Manager/Chef, order and receive deliveries, and restock supplies as necessary Maintain sanitation procedures and organization of work area.
