Job Summary
The Director of Nursing directly supervises the nursing staff, clerk and pharmacy technicians. Acts as Nursing Supervisor. Performs duties concerned with the care of the sick and injured, prevention of illness and promotion of good health in compliance with La. Salle Corrections policies, state directives and correctional healthcare standards.
The employee is responsible for the performance of the nursing staff, clerk and pharmacy technician. Works under the supervision of the Health Services Administrator.
