Senior Payments Specialist

As a Senior Payments Specialist , you will be responsible for managing all relationships and operations related to payment providers.

This role ensures smooth, secure, and efficient processing of client deposits, withdrawals, and internal fund movements. The position requires strategic oversight, risk management, and compliance awareness to optimize payment processes, reduce costs, and maintain excellent client experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee relationships with all PSPs and payment partners Negotiate contracts, fees, and service-level agreements with payment providers Monitor PSP performance, uptime, and compliance with agreed terms Ensure payment flows (deposits and withdrawals) are secure, fast, and reliable Identify and resolve payment-related issues, delays, and failures proactively Review rejected transaction rates per PSP on a weekly basis and implement solutions to reduce these rates Prepare a monthly report highlighting top-performing PSPs and those generating the most transaction flow, to adjust limits accordingly for each PSP account Ensure all PSP activities comply with KYC, AML, and regulatory requirements Conduct due diligence on current and potential PSP partners Maintain proper documentation for audits and regulatory inspections Coordinate with Operations and Finance teams to ensure seamless transaction processing Review and optimize fees paid to PSPs on a monthly basis and propose strategies to reduce costs without compromising service quality Track KPIs such as payment processing speed, error rates, cost efficiency, and client satisfaction Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field 2+ years of experience in payment operations in the forex industry Strong knowledge of PSPs, payment gateways, and transaction flows FXBO CRM experience would be considered an advantage Understanding of KYC, AML, and regulatory frameworks Proven negotiation, vendor management, and stakeholder management skills Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Leadership experience managing operational or payments teams Benefits Comprehensive private medical insurance Performance-based end-of-year bonus Hybrid working arrangement Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Twenty-one (21) working days of paid annual leave Opportunity to work in an international work environment What your hiring experience looks like Interview with a Talent Acquisition Specialist (30 minutes) Interview with the hiring team (60 minutes) Salary: € 30,000 - €36 ,000 per year.
