Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.

Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models. Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed) Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.

Qualifications

Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program or Six months on-the-job-experience (with supporting documentation) X-Ray certification Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended High school diploma or equivalent Must be willing to travel (travel reimbursement included) Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
