Line Cook (Part Time)- Hotel Peter and Paul

About the role

The Elysian Bar is seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team at The Elysian Bar. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes according to menu specifications in a timely manner. Your culinary talents and attention to detail will contribute to delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

What you'll do

Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards. Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies. Ensure that food preparation and cooking areas are clean and sanitized. Monitor food inventory levels and replenish items as needed. Assist with the receiving and storage of deliveries.

Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef to maintain menu consistency and quality. Follow proper food handling and safety procedures. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet service and production deadlines. Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests. Assist in other kitchen duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Line Cook in a restaurant or hotel setting. Knowledge of various cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and culinary terminology. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when needed. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work efficiently.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school diploma or degree is a plus.
