The Dish Machine Operator (Porter) is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the facility to maintain our culture of high standards and enhance the guest experience. The Porter plays a crucial role in supporting our catering kitchen staff by ensuring equipment, tools, and workspaces are clean and ready for use, as well as assisting with general maintenance tasks.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Washing dishes, cutlery, and cooking utensils to ensure a constant supply for the kitchen staff Cleaning work surfaces, equipment, and the general kitchen area to maintain hygiene standards Regularly empty trash and recycling bins, ensuring proper disposal Unload and organize deliveries, storing ingredients and supplies in appropriate areas.

Assist in keeping storage areas, refrigerators, and freezers organized and clean Some light prep may be required Help set up and break down event areas. Transport and organize supplies for off-site catering events (if necessary). Respond promptly to requests for assistance during service periods Adhere to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors REQUIREMENTS: Previous experience in a kitchen or janitorial role is a plus but not required.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Must possess a positive attitude and the ability to work with a variety of people and in cooperation with coworkers effectively EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE: High School or equivalent. Coursework in restaurant preferred.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, and weekends PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Physical demands for this position are stands, walks, bends, lifts, and moves on an ongoing basis during working hours within a fast-paced environment. Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs.
