Social Media Marketing Executive (Instagram & LinkedIn) Onsite

• Marketing / Media / Mass Communication / portfolio-based City Greens is a fast-growing Agri. Tech startup building automation and AI-driven solutions for Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA). We grow premium produce inside hi-tech farms and bring it to market — and we tell that story across social media, to growers, partners, and customers. We are building a brand presence that shows what modern farming looks like — on Instagram, where we reach consumers and the wider community, and on LinkedIn, where we speak to partners, institutions, and the industry. Role overview We are looking for a creative, driven social media marketer to own our handles end to end. You will plan, design, write, post, and grow our presence — primarily on Instagram, with a steady LinkedIn presence alongside. This is not a training internship. You will be running live handles from week one.

What you will do

Content planning & strategy Own the content calendar across Instagram and LinkedIn. Plan campaigns, series, and posts that build the brand, grow the audience, and suit each platform’s tone and format. Design & creation Create scroll-stopping posts, reels, stories, and carousels — designing graphics, writing copy, and shaping the creative.

Turn farm life, produce, and product into content people stop for. Publishing & community management Schedule and publish consistently. Manage all communication on the handles — comments, DMs, mentions, and engagement — and build a genuine, responsive community around the brand. Growth & reporting Track what works — reach, engagement, follower growth — and use it to sharpen the content.

Stay on top of trends, formats, and platform changes, and keep the brand current.

Requirements

Who this role is for Graduates, final-year students, or self-taught marketers with a strong portfolio or handles to show Creators who have run real accounts — personal, a brand, a college society, or client work People who want to build a real brand’s presence, not practice posts Individuals who take ownership, communicate proactively, and follow through Key skills & traits Required A strong creative eye — design, layout, colour, and typography Ability to design posts and reels using Canva, Photoshop, or equivalent Strong writing — captions, hooks, and brand-appropriate copy Understanding of Instagram and LinkedIn — what performs and why Comfortable managing community interaction and communication on the handles A portfolio, handles, or work you can show Good to have Basic video editing (reels, shorts) — Cap.

Cut, Premiere, or similar Basic photography or shooting your own content Experience growing an account or running a campaign Familiarity with scheduling and analytics tools Understanding of paid promotion / boosted posts Interest in agritech, sustainability, food, or wellness Benefits What we offer Internship-to-full-time pathway This role begins as a 3-month onsite, unpaid internship focused on real contribution and performance.

Interns who demonstrate creative ability, ownership, and consistent delivery will be offered a full-time position.
