Equipment Operator II - Public Works

Performs mid-level complex work.  Work involves providing a variety of maintenance duties which include construction, repair and maintenance of streets, public rights-of-way, and storm water detention ponds, and drainage systems. Equipment Operator II may act in absence of a Crew Leader to oversee crew activity at a worksite to ensure safety is being met, will also help train new employees.

Works under general supervision with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgement.  This position must be able to be scheduled for on-call rotation.
