Veterinary Care Assistant

As a Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA) you will support the nurse and vets with in-patient procedures and pet care delivering exceptional care always there to our clients, patients, and colleagues. This role is not suitable for young workers in line with Health and Safety Executive (government) direction due to the expected duties of the role.

What you’ll be doing Typically, in this role, you’ll: Deliver exceptional care to clients, supporting surgeries and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards Deliver patient monitoring and care to pets, including walking, toileting and feeding Work collaboratively within a supportive team You will also be required to work weekends on a rotational basis ( 1 in 3 Saturdays or Sundays with time off in lieu) You will also be required to work BH on a rota basis depending on the needs of the clinic This role is based at our New Cross Clinic but weekend and BH working may also be based at our Camberwell hospital depending on the needs of the clinic
