Shipping and Inventory Control

Koch Finishing Systems (KFS) designs and builds industrial finishing systems used by manufacturers around the world. We're looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on Shipping and Inventory Control professional to join our Caledonia team and help keep our materials, parts, and equipment moving accurately and on schedule.

What You'll Do

Plan and coordinate the packaging and shipment of parts, materials, and large capital equipment, including domestic and international freight. Obtain shipping quotes, schedule shipments, and determine the best transportation method for each job. Prepare export/import documentation, including HTS classification and commercial invoices.

Receive incoming materials and verify accuracy against purchase orders. Perform inventory transactions, cycle counts, and physical inventory counts to keep records accurate. Maintain organized, accessible storage in the parts crib, warehouse, and project bays. Partner with Purchasing and Production Planning to resolve material shortages and shipping issues quickly.

What We're Looking For

Experience in shipping/receiving, logistics, or inventory management, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Experience with inventory cycle counts and ERP/inventory management systems. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently (up to 75 lbs. occasionally with assistance) and operate material handling equipment such as a forklift or pallet jack.

Clear communicator who works well across teams and can juggle shifting priorities.
