Substitute Site Supervisor - Early Learning Centers 2026-27

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Director, carries primary responsibility at the site level for all Early Learning components; plans and implements developmentally appropriate curriculum for each child; creates a room environment that invites children to explore, create, discuss and share; plans, prepares, and provides healthy meals, including snacks and breakfasts, on a daily basis; plans monthly parent education meetings based on family needs; responsible for maintenance of children's records; supervises staff, parents and other volunteers working in the classroom; performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

/ Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS Required:

1. A valid Child Development Site Supervisor Permit.
2. A valid California driver’s license.
3. Valid First Aid and CPR certification. Desirable:
4. Two years of experience as a preschool teacher.
5. Bilingual (Spanish/English) competency. Credential Copy (Copy of Site Supervisor permit or proof of qualifications to apply for the Site Supervisor Child Development Permit) Letter of Introduction Letter(s) of Recommendation Resume Comments and Other Information SLOCOE has early learning centers throughout the county.
