Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician Department: Maintenance Reports To: Maintenance Manager Join Our Team We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to help keep our production equipment running safely, efficiently, and reliably. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring we deliver high-quality flexible packaging products on time while maintaining our commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do As a Maintenance Technician, you will: Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and repairs on production equipment Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and system issues with urgency and accuracy Ensure all repairs meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards Utilize CMMS (maintenance software) to track work orders, time, and materials Maintain and inspect tools and equipment at the start and end of each shift Communicate effectively with team members across shifts to ensure continuity Support food safety, GMP, and quality programs Keep equipment clean and in optimal working condition Contribute ideas and participate in continuous improvement initiatives Assist in other departments or tasks as needed What We’re Looking For Previous maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred Ability to read blueprints, manuals, and technical documents Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Mechanical aptitude and ability to use measuring tools (micrometers, tape measures, etc.)
High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation Strong communication skills and team mindset Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment Performance Expectations Commitment to a Zero Safety Incident culture Adherence to GMP, food safety, and quality standards Timely and accurate completion of work orders Compliance with attendance and company policies Proper care of equipment with a focus on first-time fix accuracy Work Environment & Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 75 lbs Stand for extended periods during shifts Work overtime as needed and respond to off-hour call-ins for critical breakdowns Work in a fast-paced production environment Provide your own basic hand tools (specialty tools provided) Willingness to travel occasionally, including overnight if needed Why Join Us?
