PCAs (PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANTS) NON-HANDS ON MORNING, AFTERNOON & EVENING SHIFTS AVAILABLE LOCATION: CHAPEL HILL SEVERAL SHIFTS AVAILABLE Allcare Home Health Agency is a locally owned and operated agency that provides a variety of services to clients in their home and community environment. Agency is seeking dependable, compassionate and responsible Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide non-hands-on high-quality in-home care supportive services to our clients. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy helping others through companionship, supervision, and homemaking, without providing direct physical personal care. Our caregivers play a vital role in providing one-on-one high-quality, personalized support to individuals in various settings, including long-term care facilities, assisted living communities and home environment.

Responsibilities

The Personal Care Assistant will provide non-hands-on supportive services, including: Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction Monitor and supervise clients to promote safety and well-being Prepare and serve meals and snacks Perform light housekeeping Medication reminders Maintain accurate documentation of services provided Provide reminders about scheduled activities and appointments Observe and report changes in the client’s condition or behavior to the supervisor Follow individualized care plans and agency policies Qualifications: 2yrs of personal care experience preferred High school diploma or equivalent preferred Current TB Test BLS Certification (American Heart Association) Valid Driver’s License Current Auto Insurance Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, dependable and professional demeanor Benefits : Competitive pay Paid training Weekly Pay via direct deposit Flexible Schedule Referral Bonus ($$$) Ongoing training and support Supportive team environment Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, climbing stairs and moving intermittently during working hours.
