Cafeteria Technician

Cafeteria Technician This is a 9 month position.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be able to read and write fluently in English at least at the fifth grade level. Must be able to complete simple math problems involving addition and subtraction. Must have the ability to lift 25 pounds alone and 50 pounds with assistance. Must be able to be exposed to and work in drastic temperature changes. Must be able to work and come in contact with water, detergents, cleaning agents and sanitizer.

Must be able to stand for 6 1/2 hours or more daily. Must pass background check and functional assessment test prior to employment as required by Vermilion Parish School Board policies and procedures. On-the-job training as cafeteria technician preferred. Applications will be taken starting Tuesday, October 27, 2026 Deadline for applications is 12:00 noon on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
