Design Engineer

DCS has a part-time opportunity for a highly motivated individual looking to pursue a career in a laboratory setting. This position will support ongoing testing and development in Warren, Mi. Our team is working to create next-generation testing technology that spans a significant range, including full vehicle, sub-system and component testing design and development.

Essential Job Functions: Create fixture designs. Proficient in solid works software. Understanding of material and mechanical properties. Create and manage fixture RFQs.

Required Skills

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance. Must have a minimum of a bachelor's engineering degree. Must be able to pass a National Agency Background Check. Ability to work safely in a changing environment. Ability to work well in team-oriented environments.
