K-12 School Counselor - Part Time

Job Summary

Our counselor will play an important role in supporting the social-emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs of our students while partnering closely with teachers, administrators, and families.

What You'll Do

Provide individual and small-group counseling and student support. Build strong, trusting relationships with students. Support students with friendship, conflict, stress, anxiety, academic challenges, transitions, organization, and other school-related concerns. Develop and deliver age-appropriate social-emotional learning lessons and programs.

Consult with teachers and administrators regarding student needs. Partner with parents to develop strategies that support student success. Participate in student-support and intervention meetings. Connect families with appropriate outside resources when additional support is needed. Help strengthen a school culture of kindness, respect, belonging, resilience, and responsibility.

Support the school's mission and Jewish values.
