Interventional Radiology RN, Saint Joseph's Medical Center-Yonkers, NY

Saint Joseph's Medical Center is seeking an Interventional Radiology RN to provide education to the patient and family members to ensure understanding of the procedure and plan of care before signing procedural consent and providing them with discharge planning/instructions. Job Description: Check and verify vital signs, meds, NPO status, lab results, and medical history.

Inserting and removing intravenous lines. Administering medications including moderate sedation. Monitoring patient patterns and vital signs during the procedure. Overseeing the safety and comfort of patients before, during, and after procedures. Circulate/scrub procedures as needed. Providing post-procedure monitoring: Includes observing for signs and symptoms of complications, such as bleeding from the puncture site, pain, and/or changes in mental status or vital signs.

Requirements

New York State RN license Minimum of 1.5 years of related clinical experience required Monday

• Friday day-shift Radiology experience and IV skills highly preferred BCLS required; ACLS preferred Base Hourly Rate: $54.2743 Rate increases based on years of experience Saint Joseph's Medical Center is an equal opportunity employer
