Front Desk Agent

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham New Cumberland-Harrisburg is looking for friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Front Desk Agents to provide exceptional service to our guests. As the first and last point of contact for visitors, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming and memorable guest experience.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests with a friendly, professional attitude. Complete guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately. Answer telephone calls and respond to guest inquiries. Make, modify, and cancel reservations using the hotel's property management system. Process payments and maintain accurate cash and credit card transactions.

Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area. Promote hotel amenities and assist guests with local recommendations. Follow Wyndham brand standards and hotel policies.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous hotel, hospitality, customer service, retail, or front desk experience is a plus but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong computer and multitasking abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Professional appearance and positive attitude.

Reliable transportation and excellent attendance. Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
