Group Fitness Instructors

An expanding boutique fitness brand (BODYROK) is opening its first Virginia location, and we’re looking for passionate, energetic Pilates/fitness instructors to help bring it to life! Join our founding team, help shape our studio culture, and build a fitness community from day one. WHAT YOU’LL DO as a Pilates Group Fitness Instructor: Lead engaging, 45-minute Pilates-inspired reformer workouts. Provide clear coaching, proper-form guidance, and modifications for different fitness levels. Build relationships that keep members motivated and excited to return. Help maintain a welcoming, organized studio.

Participate in pre-opening training, ongoing education, and team development. WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Energetic, personable instructors who can motivate a room. Strong communication skills and an understanding of anatomy and safe movement. Reliable team players who are excited to learn and grow. One or more years of experience in Pilates, barre, strength, HIIT, cycling, or other group fitness formats preferred, but not required.

CERTIFICATION & TRAINING: Nationally recognized Pilates or group fitness certification—such as NASM, ACE, AFAA, Balanced Body, BASI, STOTT, or equivalent—preferred but not required. Current CPR/AED certification required before teaching your first class. Training and certification in the studio’s signature Pilates method provided, along with ongoing education and mentorship.

SCHEDULING: Minimum availability of 4 classes per week. Availability across a mix of early mornings, midday, evenings, and weekends preferred. Part-time and full-time opportunities.

COMPENSATION

& GROWTH for Pilates Group Fitness Instructor: $35–$65 per 45-minute class, with pay based on class size. Guaranteed minimum pay per class and flexible schedule. Performance-based bonuses and instructor referral bonuses. Opportunities for pay increases, training, development and career growth.
