Estimator

Job Overview: The Estimator will have the responsibility of examining plans, creating various sub-packages, collaborating with both local colleagues and counterparts in Australia. The goal is to provide the Client with best tender package by seeking complete, competitive, and multiple tender costs. Job Details: Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8 AM to 5 PM Location: Bridgetowne, Pasig City *AU Holidays will be observed for this account *There is a 4 to 5-week shutdown for this account that starts Mid-week of December Responsibilities: Review tender packages and plans coming from Project Managers.

Perform detailed scope of works and breakdown into various sub-tenders; electrical, plumbing, floor covering, painting, joinery, glazing, mechanical, and etc. Issue out each of these sub-tenders to contractors for competitive pricing. Review and analysis of received sub-contractors pricing to ensure complete, competitive, and multiple matching quotes.

Coordinate with the team in ensuring all scopes of work, summary, and tender packages are properly reviewed before sending out. Collate and summarize the final package for review with a Project Manager before the tender is presented to the client.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering At least 1 year of experience in Estimating or Quantity Surveying Proficiency in reading and interpreting plans (Architectural, Structural, MEPS, etc.) Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook Experience in the construction or building retail industry, specifically dealing with scopes of work and quantity take-offs Experience in breaking tenders to sub-packages Good English skills, both written and verbal A good grasp of mathematics, calculations, etc.
