CARIAD is working intensively on the software and technology platform for Premium Platform Electric (PPE). The first vehicles based on PPE will be the electric Porsche Macan and Audi Q6 e-tron. At the core of CARIAD is the development of the unified and scalable software and technology platform E³ 2.
0 for all Group brands. E³ stands for ‘end to end electronics architecture’. The new software and technology platform is built from scratch and will be used first at the end of 2024 in Artemis, the lighthouse project of Audi. As of 2026, E³ 2.0 is due to be scaled by the Volkswagen brand with Trinity in the volume segment.

Job Description: Job Title: Senior Software Engineer / Technical Lead (Data & Analytics) Location: Bangalore Experience: 5–8 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer / Technical Lead with 5–8 years of expertise in building modern data analytics and dashboard solutions using cutting-edge technologies.
The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills in Python, Py. Spark, SQL, Databricks , and experience in developing high-performance dashboards and analytics platforms using tools like Grafana . This role requires a blend of software engineering, data processing, data analytics and visualization expertise along with the ability to guide teams and drive technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable analytics platforms and dashboard solutions for business insights. Build interactive, real-time, and batch dashboards using Grafana and similar tools. Develop backend data processing logic using Python and Py. Spark on Databricks . Translate business requirements into technical solutions, data models, and visual analytics dashboards .
Lead and mentor team members, ensuring best practices in coding, design, and performance optimization. Optimize data queries and datasets using advanced SQL techniques for efficient dashboard performance. Implement monitoring dashboards for business KPIs and system metrics . Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, analytics, business stakeholders).
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across analytics platforms. Stay updated with the latest cutting-edge technologies in data engineering and visualization .
Required Skills
Strong programming expertise in Python Hands-on experience with Py. Spark Practical experience working with Databricks Advanced proficiency in SQL (complex queries, optimization) Experience in Grafana or similar dashboard/visualization tools Strong understanding of software engineering principles and data systems Good to Have Skills Strong Data Analytics expertise (KPIs, dashboards, storytelling with data) Basic knowledge of Data Science concepts Experience with Azure Cloud (ADF, ADLS, Synapse, etc.)
