Curriculum Designer 1, Fine Arts (Art Experience Preferred)

The Curriculum Designer 1, Fine Arts primary focus of this role is developing Houston ISD NES (New Education System) curriculum in Fine Arts such as music, dance, theater arts and/or visual arts, with a specific emphasis on writing teacher-facing curriculum including slide decks with teacher guidance for implementation, Demonstration of Learning (DOL), student activities and differentiated assignments aligned to the learning objective provided for each day.

This role also serves as a liaison between campuses and District level events focused on the arts.
