Summary The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for the maintenance, operation, and repair of buildings, equipment and systems throughout the assigned facilities.

Must possess the ability to perform general mechanical repairs. The Maintenance Technician II performs demand and scheduled preventive maintenance of the facility equipment to cover all trades including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, refrigeration, pneumatic tube, painting, carpentry and associated systems in accordance with departmental, hospital and regulatory agency codes.

Specific duties include maintaining facilities and equipment in hospital or clinic environment. Job Title: Maintenance Technician II Three (3) years Maintenance Experience required. Will consider two (2) years healthcare specific maintenance experience "in lieu of" three (3) years overall. Ability to work various work shifts and/or weekends as needed Ability to travel between other Moffitt Cancer Center facilities Minimum Education Level: High School Diploma/GED Preferred Education Level: Associate's Degree Licensure Certification Needed: Yes Minimum Licensure: Driver's License (DL).

Must be obtained within 6 months of employment. Salary Range $27.63 - $42.18 Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role.
