Senior Functional Analyst – BECRIS

A leading Belgian financial institution is seeking a Senior Functional Analyst to support a credit regulatory reporting initiative. The role focuses on redesigning and maintaining an existing regulatory reporting IT solution in a compliance-driven environment. The consultant will contribute both to the system redesign and to ongoing operational support activities within a structured regulatory landscape.

Requirements

• Perform functional analysis and manage system design activities
• Conduct requirements gathering, gap analysis and impact assessments
• Support regulatory reporting system redesign
• Define and manage test approaches
• Provide production support and enhancement recommendations
• Collaborate with business, regulatory and IT stakeholders
• Maintain structured documentation and ensure delivery ownership Required Skills & Expertise Must Have:
• 5+ years experience as Functional Analyst
• Experience in Banking or Insurance
• Experience in regulatory reporting (credit domain preferred)
• Strong functional analysis capabilities
• Experience in testing and quality assurance
• SQL knowledge
• Strong analytical and communication skills Should Have:
