Job description
Reporting to the Police Sergeant, the Campus Police Officer protects students, faculty, staff and visitors, property, and facilities and enforces the laws and regulations of the City of Rock Hill, State of South Carolina and Winthrop University on University, adjacent and other appropriate properties. Patrols in WUPD vehicles or on foot to enforce City of Rock Hill and State of South Carolina laws and regulations and Winthrop University policies.
Issues citations for moving and parking violations. Investigates complaints and disturbances using the appropriate techniques and makes arrests as necessary. Prepares various reports and forms, including incident, citation, accident and information...
