TikTok Shop - LLM Operations Specialist, Content Safety

The Global E-Commerce Governance and Experience (GNE) team helps build a safe and trusted environment for businesses, creators, and communities. We develop policies that support responsible participation, detect and prevent fraud and abuse, and design the support experiences that resolve issues and strengthen trust.

You will work on complex problems where user experience, safety, and support quality come together, helping shape safe and trusted interactions across the global e-commerce ecosystem.

• Prompt Design and Optimization

• Translate content moderation policies and rules into effective, executable prompts for large language models (LLMs).

• Continuously optimize prompt design based on data analysis and model feedback to improve the precision and effectiveness of moderation strategies.

• Implementation of Automated Moderation Strategies

• Drive the launch and implementation of closed-loop automated moderation strategies to improve review efficiency and accuracy.

• Monitor strategy performance and promptly adjust prompts in response to evolving business needs.

• Vertical Business Support

• Implement existing solutions across specific business verticals and ensure the effectiveness of LLM applications in relevant use cases.

• Independently own key performance metrics for assigned verticals, continuously optimizing content moderation strategies to achieve business objectives.

• Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Compliance, Product, Engineering, and Data teams to ensure prompt designs meet policy requirements and are operationally feasible.

• Drive the adoption of LLM-based solutions across a broader range of business scenarios.

• Data Analysis and Reporting

• Leverage data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and Python to support data-driven decision-making.

• Produce regular operational reports, evaluate strategy performance, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• At least 1 year of relevant professional experience.
• Strong logical and analytical skills, with the ability to translate content moderation rules into practical technical solutions.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Python, with the ability to drive decisions through data.
• Strong cross-cultural communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Law, Compliance Management, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Experience in e-commerce, content moderation, natural language processing (NLP), or LLM prompt design.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience collaborating effectively with Compliance, Product, Engineering, and Data teams.
