Job Description​ Job Description The Opportunity: Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City is hiring for an experienced Registered Nurse to join their Intermediate Progressive Care Unit. This nursing team provides care to post-surgical and medical short stay patients in a fast-paced environment with various acuity levels.

This Intermediate Unit will allow you to gain RN experience with: Fast Paced Environment Variety in acuity levels, conditions and treatments ICU Stabilization Work with patients across all specialties High Patient Turn Over Post-Surgical and Medical Patients Shift Details: day shift 6:45 am to 7:15 pm This position comes with night and weekend shift differential.

The Work: Accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines Job Requirements Applicable Experience: Less than 1 year Basic Life Support

• American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse (MO)
• National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS) Associate Degree
