The Cashier plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout experience for customers at our retail location in Del Rio, TX. This position is responsible for accurately processing transactions, handling cash and electronic payments, and providing exceptional customer service to create a welcoming environment.

The role requires attention to detail to manage cash registers and point-of-sale systems while maintaining accuracy in all financial exchanges. Additionally, the Cashier supports store operations by performing light janitorial duties and assisting with inventory management as needed. Ultimately, this position contributes to customer satisfaction and the overall success of the store by maintaining professionalism and efficiency throughout each shift.

Minimum Qualifications

Previous experience in cashiering or retail customer service. Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately. Ability to perform repetitive motions and stand for extended periods. Capability to lift and carry heavy weights up to 50 pounds safely. Strong communication skills and phone etiquette.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash register operation. Familiarity with janitorial duties in a retail environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
